Kin Lung Ancient Trail runs from Tai Wai/Redhill Valley to Kowloon Pass (near Lion Rock), about 5 km. Shaded stone paths pass Amah Rock, streamside bridges and the Reunification Pavilion, offering city‑fringe views. Easy, family‑friendly—bring water and watch for monkeys after rain.

Kau Sha Ancient Trail (Tsim Sha Path) runs from Hung Mui Kuk/Tai Wai up through Redhill Valley to Eagle’s Nest/Lion Rock area, about 6.4 km. Expect shaded stone steps, an old irrigation channel with stone bridges, Eagle’s Nest pavilion and occasional city lookouts.
