The Batang Ancient Trail is a Swiss monk of Our Lady of Luodong Hospital in 1977. Together with Mr. Tang Chien and Mr. Tang Xian of the Yilan Mountain Association, the path opened for the construction of Our Lady of the Mountain Village, hence the name “Batang Ancient Trail”. The new road was opened later, and the old road was abandoned for ten years, in November 2004 by the Mountain Association, Shen Fen Miss Chiao started the renovation. The ancient trail leads from the twin streams to Santa Maria Mountain Village. It also takes about 150 minutes to Shui Duck Ridge. Along the way, the forest is beautiful and the scenery is pleasant. A wide and well-trodden cobblestone road, you will soon meet the old Batang Trail fork over the bridge. The ancient trail turns into a pristine mountain path, lush with green trees, many plant and ecological resources, and through the trees to the ridge line, and the view becomes clear.
