Xinliao Waterfall Trail starts from Zhongshan Village in Dongshan Township, Yilan County, following Xinliao Creek upstream to Xinliao Waterfall. The creek originates from 980m-high Xinliao Mountain. Due to geological fault lines, ten waterfalls cascade along the valley, with Xinliao Waterfall at the lowest point. The swift eastward flow merges with Jjuliao Creek, forming the vital Dongshan River that sustains Yilan’s communities.

Plum Lake is located in Dongshan Township, Yilan. It was originally named Dai Pei and Kai Lake. It was originally a natural reservoir with agricultural field irrigation. Due to its overall shape resembling five plum blossoms, it was later renamed Plum Lake. “Jianhu Axiu Moon” is one of Lanyang's 18 attractions. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the lake has a total area of 20 hectares. It is not only beautiful, but also a variety of ecological species. Locals plan it as a special area for scenery. The park is full of leisure options such as walking, cycling, boating, and many shops on the lake are popular places for relaxation. The Huanhu Highway and the Hamaki Trail are lined along the waterfront, offering views of Lake Bicheng and lush mountains along the road. With the Phoenix Suspension Bridge, Hudong is a walking distance to Phoenix Island, and enjoy the lake view from your point of view. If you want to climb high overlooking the entire lake area and the vast Lanyang Plain, you can also take a detour around the Kamang Ting Road to Sanqing Palace.

With an area of 47 hectares, Luodong Sports Park is a complex area that combines sports and leisure functions. The design fully reflects the landscape, planting, streams and various sports facilities. The design fully reflects the landscape of Tilanyang and the local characteristics of Taiwan. The landscape of the park is very diverse, divided into three types of landscape, water view and planting: the topography includes emerald hills, wide grassy slopes, pebble hills, conservation sanctuaries, flying stones, central axis, circular plaza, old street pier and pebble beach; water stream views include hiking pools, natural gorges, lanyang springs、Hongming Lake, turbulent water area, Qinglong shoreline; various plantings such as Maple Valley, Keto Winter Trail, Sagislin, Coconut Square, Lao Pine, Chung Yang Wood, Wetland Plant Area, White Lime Tree, etc., form a complete planting landscape. There is a full range of sports facilities, including swimming pools, athletics fields, football, basketball nets, hammers, lawn bowling and a children's skating rink. There is also a wonderful water dance show every night. Whether it's for men and women and young people and all ages, you can stroll along the park's footpaths or bike paths to explore all the attractions at once.

The original site of Luodong Forestry Cultural Park, located in Luodong City, was an important center of cypress trade in Taiwan in the early years. After the logging industry ended, the old forest field was redesigned to create a dedicated forestry park, completely restoring the historical link between Taiping Shan forest development and Luodong local development. The entire park covers approximately 20 hectares and has been designed to complete a variety of attractions and exhibition spaces, including an ecological pool, a storage pond, an aquatic plant viewing area, a steam transport train exhibition hall, a forest railway and several exhibition halls. The park includes a woodchip trail, a lap pool trail, a bird watching trail, a dream forest path and a forest railway trail that connect all the attractions at once. The Ecological Pond is home to many wildlife and is a great place for bird-watching; the atmosphere is idyllic; six vintage steam trains roamed the Lanyo Plain, full of old-growth logging years; and the exhibits detail the history of the forest. The park is lush with forests and tranquil surroundings, where you can relax and relax. It is a complex place of great value for recreation, nature observation and education in forest history.
