The name “Nanhu Mountain” derives from its massive, airy landscape. From any angle or distance, the mountains of Nanhu are the perfect weather. In addition to a number of towering peaks in the clouds, the Nanhu Mountains are home to Taiwan's most diverse glacial terrain (such as the magnificent upper and lower ring valleys), Taiwan's only “desert” geology, Taiwan's longest frozen snow season, and some of the world's unique native species... even the Nanhu Mountains seem to have some species. Chung Ling Yuxiu's urban spirit has made Nanhu Mountain a dreamy alpine beauty destination for many mountain lovers. She has always visited more than once and for three places. Some people think that it is necessary to go through the whole mountain in the spring, summer and autumn and winter seasons, even if it is a complete hike. Despite the fact that Yushan and Snow Mountain are Taiwan's highest peaks, in the minds of many Taiwanese mountaineers, the seal of “King's Mountain” may be given to “Nanhu Mountain” in the northern part of the Central Mountains, and Nanhu Mountain is not even the highest peak in the Central Mountains. In addition to this, the Nanhu Mountain Area is not only the mountain of Nanhu, but also a number of peaks with different heights and unique characteristics, which guard the main peak of Nanhu Mountain like an arch of stars, and therefore it has more significance for the title of king. However, it is also not so easy to visit the Nanhu Mountain area due to the remote road and the “Wuyuan Peak” before entering the valley, it is not so easy to visit the Nanhu Mountain area. It is recommended to visit Nanhu Mountain after some advanced mountain experience before visiting the Nanhu Mountain.

The northern section of the Central Range is located at the northern end of the main ridge, which includes eight mountain peaks such as Nanhu Mountain and Chuo Tsim Shan. The tour begins with a beautiful fir forest, followed by the vast Xumajin alpine grassland, a gentle ridge of five rock peaks, and the uniquely towering Taosei Peak; ascend the 3742 m high Nanhu Mountain, overlooking the surrounding mountains. As far as Chuo Tsim Shan, the mountains are shaped like sharp pyramids and are known as the first tip in Taiwan and are very difficult to climb. Blossoming alpine azaleas, majestic ring valleys and lush mountains make for endless scenery. The central tip of Nanhu is a classic route for many mountain lovers. It is recommended to start training early.

The “Roman Walk” is a ridge walk that has been opened recently by Yamanami. The route takes its name from the first of the two mountains of Mount Rao and Mabusano Counties. The route connects several famous mountains along the way, including the center of Nanhu, the top of the snow mountain, Wuling Shixiu, Shijiayang Mountain, Osakio Mountain, and others along the way. Walk into the vast ironwood forest and the white wood forest, visit a cluster of megacities and a thousand-year-old Roman tree. There are three triangles at the peaks of Mount Rao and Mamusano Koriyama. The mountain forest and alpine panorama are interspersed with a variety of attractions along the way, and the viewing value is very high. This route starts next to the old outpost of Siyuan Yunguchi. After starting over the Luoei River, you walk up a long and steep wide fire alley, and continue to climb 700 meters to reach Mt. Royeo (2717 m), the highest elevation of the entire line. After walking through a variety of giant trees and towering millennia-old Roman trees, you reach the top point of the Mamusano Koriyama mountain range, where the ridge lines of the Snowy Mountains are clearly visible, and the distant Wuling Farm is in full view. After leaving the base, pass through a white forest full of mangoes, descend along steep fire protection alleys to the Daiko Gorge, then turn left to Ma Tsubashi, a total distance of more than ten kilometers. The route is long and long. There is water supply along the creek only at the start and end of the route, and there is no supply point in the middle of the road. Be sure to drink enough water and dry food before departure, while wearing high-grip, wear-resistant trekking shoes, and be fully prepared to enjoy this unique trek through the alpine forest.。
