Chili Lian peaks belong to the northern three sections of the Central Mountains. Along the way, the four hundred mountains of Chili Lai, the main mountain of Chili, the four hundred peaks of Chili Lai, and Nanhua Mountain are a must see, and the magnificent Karolo Cliffs are a classic route for mountaineers. There are several mountain peaks spread between the main mountain of Chili and the southern peaks of Chili, and the most representative of the Carlow Cliffs, which stretch for several kilometers between them. The route is full of dangerous terrain such as cliffs and narrow ridges. The mountain area is often accompanied by strong winds and trekking with caution; it is easy to get lost when the Katong Yingshi Falls are foggy. After crossing the steep ridge line, walk into the forest and immediately come to the lush green alpine meadows. The smooth, well-trodden grass paths soothe the tension of the road, and the scenery is bright.

Follow the trail from the Chili Mountain Climbing Entrance behind Hehuasan Ski Resort. After passing through an embankment and several small peaks, you will reach the end of the Kochilai Trail — the green, undulating Yuyama Takahara, where the views are vast, and all of Hejan, Chili Kwan Peaks, Pingfeng Mountain, Mount Bilu and Yatou Mountain are all unspoilt. If the weather is good, you can even take a long view of the main peak of Yuyama. In addition to the magnificent mountain and arching views, the Kochilai Trail is also known as the “Hoi Huan Mountain Garden”, such as spring blooming jade azalea, summer blooming Taiwan lily, autumn flowering Taiwanese tea tree, and beautiful tiger cane. The Little Chili Trail is the precursor of the Chili Lian Mountain Trail, a relatively gentle trail with a length of only 1.4 km, ideal for general short hikes. After Kukakuhara, there is a hiking trail leading to Chili Lian Peak. If you do not enter the park in advance and have sufficient equipment, you should not enter the park by accident. It takes about 2 hours to get around the Ko Chili Trail. If you have plenty of time to go down the mountain, visit Hoehua Kun Peak and experience the beauty of “Green Chili” from a different angle.

“Mount Chili” is perhaps the most famous mountain in Taiwan apart from Yushan and Snow Mountain. The reason is not the towering hillsides or the beautiful grassy slopes, but the infamous Yamanashi legend. Especially in the 1960s, the mountain region experienced a number of mountain disasters, which made the name “Black Chili” broadcast. However, with the establishment of Taroko National Park and the development of the Huanshan Scenic Area, more and more people set foot in this mountain area, and the mysterious veil of Mount Chili is gradually revealed. The beautiful Chili in Wei has become a popular mountain area for many mountain lovers to return to and visit again. The most popular among hikers is the “Chili Main North” tour, which combines the “North Peak of Chili Mountain” and the “Chili Main Mountain”. Chili North Peak is the highest peak of the Chili Mountains and is steeply steep and is therefore listed as one of the “10 toughest”. The mountains of the main mountain of Chili are also beautiful. Although the altitude is slightly lower than the northern peak, the atmosphere is not inferior to that of the northern peak. Due to the recent development of mountain trails and mountain houses, the difficulty of the main north of Chilai has decreased much compared to earlier years, but the climate in the Honyama area is very variable, with frequent fog in the afternoon, making climbing the mountain roads of the main Chili Range very steep, which is still a route for climbers to pay special attention to their own safety.
