The trail leads mainly along forest and forest roads, but also a good 30 percent over narrow paths through varied forests. Big views and small views of the surrounding area open up again and again. Due to some steep climbs and descents, you should be in some fitness for this tour.

This varied hike combines natural forest trails, historic border trails and impressive panoramas. After climbing from the Kinzig Valley, there are wonderful views of Wolfach and the Black Forest. Highlights include the idyllic Hexentanzplatz and the Spitzfelsen with its wide panoramic view. Numerous rest areas invite you to relax and enjoy.

The grouse trail leads through varied forests and idyllic meadows in the Tennenbronn district of Schramberg in the Black Forest Centre/North Nature Park. Wide views and peaceful nature make this hike a special experience. Numerous information boards provide interesting facts about the capercaillie, which were still numerous here at the beginning of the 20th century, and provide insights into their hidden way of life. This tour combines impressive landscapes with exciting insights into the region's wildlife and natural heritage.
