清水灣 Clear Water Bay
Clear Water Bay Tree Walk winds through dense woodlands on the mid-slopes of Tai Hang Tun in Clear Water Bay Country Park. Starting at a visitor centre with a viewing platform, it offers stunning southeast views of waves crashing against Tsing Chau and the Nine Pin Group. A short stroll immerses you in cool, shady forest, even in summer heat. Midway, an open section reveals the beautiful Clear Water Bay and the serene, traditional fishing village of Po Toi O. The 1.2 km trail features 10 interpretation plates highlighting plants such as Chinese Hackberry, Laurel Sweet Leaf, and Schima.

This easy 2km path hugs Clear Water Bay's protruding east coast, blending stunning mountain and sea vistas. Ascend early stone steps to Tai Leng Tung's summit for sweeping north-to-south panoramas of Port Shelter, Clear Water Bay, sack-shaped Po Toi O harbor, and islands like Shelter, Jin, Basalt, plus distant Ninepin Group. At trail's end, spot cliffside Lung Ha Wan Rock Carving—ancient 3,000-year-old artwork of birds, beasts, and geometric designs, uncovered by visitors in 1978.

High Junk Peak is a sharp, rugged mountain in the Clear Water Bay area of Hong Kong, well known for its steep and challenging hiking trail. At about 344 meters high, it offers one of the most dramatic coastal views in the region, overlooking Clear Water Bay, Port Shelter, and nearby islands. The final ascent involves exposed rocky paths, making it more suitable for experienced hikers. Despite its difficulty, it is a popular destination because of its stunning panoramic scenery and rewarding summit views.

High Junk Peak (344m) ranks among Sai Kung’s steepest climbs with Sharp Peak and Tai Yue Ngam Teng. The trail crosses Clearwater Bay Country Park, passing bays and ridges separating Tseung Kwan O from rural views. Its shape evokes a fisherman’s hat and cape. Enjoy turquoise seas and distant Ninepin Group vistas. Ends at 1266 Tin Hau Temple and 1274 Southern Song inscription.
