Nestled within AFCD’s Lions Nature Education Centre, the gentle Tsiu Hang Nature Trail invites easy exploration of mosses, fungi, and decaying logs lining the path. Summer brings vibrant host and nectar plants that lure butterfly larvae—and photographers alike. Standout trees include Sweet Gum, Kaki Persimmon, Pandanus, Chinese White Olive, and Wax Trees (once harvested for candles—avoid touching, as their sap can irritate skin).

Mau Ping Ancient Trail is a 4 km route from Mui Tsz Lam to Mau Ping, continuing toward Pak Kong or Sai Kung. It features shaded woodland, old stone paths, streams, and quiet valley scenery. A short, pleasant heritage walk with gentle climbs.

Tai No Ancient Trail runs from Ho Chung to Wong Nai Tau, about 6–6.5 km. Riversides, ATV studio ruins, colorful village murals, abandoned village remains, a preserved sugar‑press stone, bamboo tunnels and shaded forest—quiet, historic and photogenic.
