Kabayan, Benguet
Akiki Trail is a challenging route to Mount Pulag known for steep ascents, pine and mossy forests, open grasslands, and expansive Cordillera views. The trail passes the Eddet River and the scenic area known as Marlboro Country before reaching the higher grasslands and Mount Pulag summit. It is widely known as the “Killer Trail” because of its sustained steep terrain and is considered an expert-level route.

Marlboro Campsite is a scenic camping area along the Akiki Trail of Mount Pulag in Kabayan, Benguet. Located in the highlands at roughly 2,000 meters above sea level, it features open mountain slopes, pine-covered terrain, and views toward the surrounding Cordillera landscape. The campsite serves as a major resting point for hikers continuing toward Mount Pulag’s mossy forest and summit.

Mount Andok is a 1,580-meter peak in Kabayan, Benguet. The trail typically starts near Adaoay Elementary School and follows steep uphill sections toward the summit. The route features highland terrain and scenic views of the surrounding Cordillera mountains. It is considered a moderate hike of approximately 7.4 km, taking around 3.5–4 hours.

Mount Pulag via Balena is a challenging route to Mount Pulag that begins near Mount Pulag Elementary School along the Balena–Babadak road and connects toward the Akiki jump-off. The approximately 17.9-kilometer route passes through mountainous terrain and offers scenic views of the Cordillera landscape. It is known for its demanding ascent and the possibility of experiencing Mount Pulag’s famous sea of clouds.
