This moderate loop explores Bukhansan National Park and climbs toward Baegundae while linking several notable ridges and peaks. The route passes Ilchulbong, Yongambong, Nojeokbong and Mangyeongdae, then continues through Yeougul, Yaksuamswimteo and Harujae before returning to the starting area. Forest paths, stone steps, rocky sections and open ridge views provide a varied mountain experience. Some sections may be steep or slippery, so reliable hiking shoes, sufficient water and careful footing are recommended.

The Baegundae Peak Hike climbs to Bukhansan National Park’s highest summit at 836.5 metres. Several approaches are possible, with the Ui-dong and Bukhansanseong routes among the most practical. The upper section becomes steep and rocky, with granite slabs, railings and exposed footing near the summit. Although the hike is not especially long, it can feel demanding and crowded on weekends. Start early, wear shoes with reliable grip and allow extra time around the summit bottlenecks.
